Monday, August 21 Marlin Business Day All 10th-12th Grade Students
Please drop-in at the Gymnasium / Auditorium entrance from 9:00am-11:00am or 1:00pm-4:00pm.Bring 2016-17 Mercy ID card, driver's license or other form of picture ID, along with all required school paperwork. All required school forms must be turned in Monday, August 21st for all students. Students will not be allowed to attend classes if all forms are not turned in as of 8:00am, Tuesday, August 22.

- IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Please watch for your personalized August Picture Day flyer from HR Imaging Partners regarding school portraits which have been mailed to your home and should arrive soon. Do not throw this form away, even if you are not planning on making a portrait purchase. The pre-printed envelope portion of the flyers is used as a camera cards for all students. All students should be photographed for the student ID and school records regardless of whether or not you are purchasing a portrait package. Sending this envelope with your student on picture day will expedite the process for your student. You may also prepay for school pictures online at shop.hrimaging.com.

All grades report to Adviser room by 8:00am. Opening Mass and Assembly 8:30am-9:50am. All parents are welcome! No unscheduled class periods today. Please bring a lunch from home. Link Leaders wear Link Crew shirt and students should adhere to *Special Dress Dayguidelines listed below.
Uniforms will be worn starting Monday, August 28.
- While out of uniform August 22-25, students should adhere to the *SPECIAL DRESS DAY requirements: Special dress days for holidays, liturgies, or other special events should be viewed as dress-up days rather than dress-down days. Guidelines for special dress days direct that attire be appropriate for school. It is inappropriate to expose cleavage, mid-section, or hips. Ripped clothing, jeans, pajama pants, sweatpants, casual shorts, or spaghetti straps are not allowed. Dress shorts may be worn as long as they are fingertip length or longer. Leggings or yoga pants may not be worn as stand-alone pants, only as an accessory to a dress or skirt.
- Please be aware of the following uniform policies. Students will receive a detention for any violation to these or any other uniform policy. (Student Handbook p. 7-8)
Skirt: The kilt should be worn no more than two inches above the knee. Any student who permanently shortens her uniform skirt to an unacceptable length may be required to purchase a new skirt.
Legwear: Students must wear solid, without a pattern, black, dark green, gray, maroon, navy or white (no neon or lace) foot/leg wear with their uniforms. The colors may not be combined. Footless tights or leggings may be worn under the uniform skirt, but socks must be worn as well.
BOOK PURCHASING UPDATE: If you've previously experienced an error message when trying to use 'Shop by Schedule' on our MBS Mercy Bookstore, you're now able to use your daughter's full Mercy email address that will bring up the books she'll need to purchase for her 2017-2018 school year at Mercy. Please take advantage of free shipping with orders over $99 through Friday, August 18th.
