2017-18 Athletic Information
All athletes must have current MHSAA Physical and Mercy Athletic Forms in Privit. To be valid for the 2017-18 School Year, MHSAA Physicals must be performed & dated on or after 4/15/2017. Try-Out times will be on the Athletic Calendar and Team Pages as available. Please be prepared to attend ALL try-out sessions. Practices begin as soon as try-outs are completed, please be aware of this when scheduling events.

All forms & physicals must be entered in Privit by February 20, 2017

Please be prepared to attend ALL try-out sessions. Practices begin as soon as try-outs are completed, please be aware of this when scheduling events.

State Playoffs: May 29 - June 16

Dance is a two-season sport. Try-outs for the 2018-19 Mercy Dance Team will be in May, 2018. The team begins practices in September and goes through the end of February.

Pompon is a two-season sport. Try-outs for the 2017-18 Mercy Pom Team will be in May, 2018. The team begins practices in September and goes through the end of February.

  • All Athletes are required to have an M.H.S.A.A. physical dated on or after April 15th, 2018 as part of a complete Privit account.  
  • Registration by the listed dates required to try-out.
  • Try-Out times will be on the Athletic Calendar and Team Pages as available.
    • Please be prepared to attend ALL try-out sessions.

Mercy High School upholds a strong tradition of competitive athletics in 18 sports, including 5 club sports. All teams are eligible to participate in the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) or applicable state tournaments and 16 participate in the Detroit Catholic High School League (CHSL). Mercy's facilities include a gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, full-size track, two fields, and two enclosed softball diamonds. Student athletes at Mercy are strongly encouraged to hold academic excellence as their primary goal. Any student wanting to participate in a sport must maintain 2.0 overall GPA in order to be eligible for competition. In addition, all athletes must have a current MHSAA physical and Mercy Athletic Forms in Privit prior to tryouts. For the 2017-18 School Year, a current MHSAA Physical must be performed and dated on or after 4/15/2017.
