Mercy Volleyball DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! Congratulations to MVV who swept Livonia Stevenson for the win.

Two XC State Qualifiers for the Marlins! Way to run, Mackenzie Sullivan ‘21 and Maddie Kenney ‘21!

The M Zone Athletic Training Facility was named in memory of Sr. Regina Marie Doelker, RSM '56. Last week, we made it official! She served Mercy as a Math teacher from 1964-1974, Principal from 1986-2001 and President from 2002-2010. She was a strong leader who served Mercy with compassion and engaged people through personal connection. Thank you to all of our generous donors who made the renovation of this space possible!

Dalia Housey '21 is a recipient of the 2020 Optimist Leadership Award sponsored by the Farmington/Farmington Hills Breakfast Optimist Club. Dalia was selected because of her commitment to leadership and promoting a positive message of well being throughout our Mercy community, especially during this difficult time. Dalia has held a student government position since her freshman year at Mercy, and now serves as the Executive Board Chair of the Student Council.

Our beloved Receptionist Mary Harkness '70 is celebrating 50 years of dedication to Mercy High School!

"Mercy wouldn't be Mercy without Ms. Harkness,” says Nicole Yaekle '20.

We know many of you share these sentiments.

Do you have a favorite moment or special Marlin memory of a time shared with Ms. Harkness? Feel free to comment on the form link below and we will make certain she receives the love!

Mercy Volleyball standout Julia Bishop '21 was named First Team Under Armour All-American!

As a senior setter, Julia has helped lead the team in a 2019 State Championship and helped win 26 straight to start the 2020 season. She is committed to play at Michigan State University and has more than 5,000 assists in her four-year career on Mercy Varsity Volleyball.

Back in 1999, Jenny Borowiec made a hole-in-one for Farmington Hills Mercy. Two years later, her sister, Erin, also accomplished the feat.

Those were the last aces in program history.

That is, until Sept. 24 and Sept. 28, when Chloe Vig did it. Yes, both days.

Vig, a sophomore at Mercy who has been playing competitive golf for less than two years, made two holes-in-one in a five-day span — doing twice in less than a week what many far more accomplished golfers wait their whole lives to do just once.

When Mercy took the court against Marian Wednesday night, it had yet to fall from the peak that last season’s state championship brought the program.

The Marlins held a 22-game win streak heading into the match, having lost only one set all season — against Stoney Creek Sept. 11 in a tournament game.

However, when facing the Mustangs, no matter where each team is at, games always seem to be close.
