Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of Matilda!

EmileeTheofanopoulos '23 and Anika Lopes '24 both submitted a rigorous audition and were accepted into the Regional Honors Choir ensemble in Michigan, set to perform on December 3. From there, they will audition and hope to be placed in State Honors Choir, which performs at the Michigan Music Conference in Grand Rapids this January. They competed with hundreds of other Michigan singers for these spots.

Our Mercyaires performed at Oakland University's Chamber Choir Festival on November 8th. They sang beautifully and had a chance to hear three other local high school groups, plus enjoyed performances from Oakland Chorale, the premier choral ensemble at OU under the direction of Dr Mike Mitchell, along with the a cappella group The OakChordz. Alums Kayla Stuss ‘20 and Kendyl Lavigne ‘22 sang with Chorale. It was a great night of live singing!
