May 1 - SENIOR SURVEY / Scholarship Notification DUE- Senior Survey due date is May 1, 2015. It will be available April 15th and will close on April 30th with NO extensions.
May 1 - Memory DVD ORDERS DUE!
May 14 - Senior Prom at the Roostertail. 7pm - 12am. Tickets on sale April 27 - May 1 at the Cafe Snack Bar: 7:50-8:15 a.m., 5th hour, and 2:40-3 p.m. Any questions? See or email Mrs. Tarplin, Mrs. Polan or Mrs. Richter

May 26 - Honors Convocation held in the morning (cap and gown). Line up in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend. Advisee Parties for Seniors and Moving Up in the afternoon in the auditorium (cap and gown). Line up in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend.
- Mass (Seniors process in Cap/Gown) Line up 5:30 Mass at 6 pm in Mercy’s Auditorium
- Flower presentation to the Blessed Mother by Seniors after Mass
- Senior Farewell presentation following
- Reception in gym with appetizers immediately following
- Parents, families and friends are invited
- All seniors must attend a mandatory rehearsal from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the Detroit Opera House. Each senior is asked to bring the shoes she will wear for the graduation, so as to practice the negotiation of all of the stairs.
June 7 - Graduation Ceremony 2:00 p.m.
- Families can park in the Opera House Parking center for $5 per car.
- Students and faculty will arrive at 1:00 p.m. and enter through the Stage/Security door off Madison.
- Families will line-up at main entrance doors on Madison. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. or earlier if Opera House is prepared and people are lined-up.
- Ushers will pass out programs provided by Mercy High School.
- Seating is available on the main floor, boxes and balcony.
- Accessible seating for patrons in wheelchairs and a companion is available on the main floor.
- Seniors must arrive at 1:00pm to line up and receive roses
- A professional photographer will take pictures of each graduate as she receives her diploma
- Video is taken of the entire ceremony and will be mailed to each graduate approximately 4 - 6 weeks after graduation
June 7 - Senior All Night Party (SANP) – All graduates attending the party are to arrive between 10:30 p.m. and 12:00 midnight. The party concludes at 5:00am. The consent form must be signed and returned to school in order to attend.
Graduation tickets
The graduation ticket process will begin on Monday, May 4th and be completed by Thursday, May 21st. Each graduate will receive eight (8) admission tickets for the graduation ceremony. Graduates do not need a ticket. Beginning Monday, May 4th graduation tickets will be ready for the seniors to sign for and pick up from the reception desk at school. An announcement will be made. Click here for extra graduation ticket request form. Hard copy available at the reception desk at school on May 4th. This form must be signed by a parent and returned to the reception desk at school. Once all of the requests for extra tickets have been received and approved by Administration, the extra tickets can be signed for and picked up from the reception desk at school. An announcement will be made. Tickets will not be given to any senior who has not fulfilled all of her school obligations of detentions, financials, MCAP requirements, or who has not completed her senior survey. The next day after the senior has been cleared of all school obligations, her tickets will be available for pick up at the reception desk at school.
Fulfillment of obligations: School obligations must be met prior to graduation tickets being issued.
These include:
- financial (e.g. tuition, sweepstakes) Contact Business Office or Dr. Kreger with any questions.
- senior survey
- service hours completed and reflection paper submitted (MCAP)

DETAILS and FORMS
* Order your Senior MEMORY DVD by May 1st! Click here for Memory DVD order form.The entire ceremony, including processional and presentation of diplomas, will be video-taped by a professional video company. A DVD will be mailed to each graduate 4-6 weeks after graduation.

* Graduation Gowns: Mercy High School Graduation is a formal academic commencement ceremony. As such each graduate is to be dressed in a modest gown. CLICK HERE for updated 2015 graduation gown requirements and criteria.
