Basketball
Open to all girls entering Grades 5 - 9 in Fall of 2023
 
June 26-29, 2023

Mercy HS Gymnasium
 
Join Mercy Basketball Alumnae and Coaching Staff, including 20 year Mercy Varsity Basketball Coach, Gary Morris. During his time at Mercy, Coach Morris has led the Marlins to 5 Catholic High School League, 13 District, and two Regional Championships; along with one Final Four Appearance. He has been selected Coach of the Year by the Detroit Free Press, the Oakland Press, the Daily Tribune, Catholic League Coaches Association and the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan.

Our focus is to provide an opportunity for each athlete to improve basketball skills and learn new basketball concepts while making friends and having an enjoyable week in a relaxed atmosphere. The camp is designed to provide an educational, competitive environment while allowing players to have fun while improving their basketball skills through group and individual participation.

  • Individual, group instruction, and drills designed to improve fundamental basketball skills and help each player gain confidence in her own abilities
  • Staff-to-player ratio of 1-to-6
  • Skill and competitive contests with various prizes and awards

Mercy Cheer Kid’s Clinic

Come join the Mercy Cheer team and coaches for a fun day before the start of school!

When: Thursday, August 10, 2023

Time: 9:00am to 2:00pm (short performance for families at 2:00pm)
Who: All levels welcome ~ K through 8th

Where: Mercy High School Gym, 29300 W Eleven Mile Rd Farmington Hills, MI 48336

Cost: $60 per child, $110 for two siblings.

Participants receive a t-shirt, lunch, and gift! Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. All participants will learn a cheer routine and skills and perform at the end of the event. Parents and fans are encouraged to come watch and cheer at 2:00pm.

Please send registration form in by 7/27/2023 to guarantee t-shirt. Fill out separate form for each child. Make checks payable to Mercy High School.

Located on the Mercy HS Athletic Fields. Mercy Field Hockey is pleased to offer two summer camps. Our beginner camp teaches the basics of field hockey from technical skills to game play. Our Advanced Camp works to refine technical skills and tactical game play.
 
Pompon
Mercy Pompon Kids Clinic

Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm. Short Pompon performance at 2:00 p.m.

Volleyball
Join us this summer for a series of volleyball camps hosted by the Mercy High School volleyball staff. All  players will be instructed by Varsity coach Loretta Vogel. Loretta Vogel brings over 45 years of volleyball  coaching experience. In 2020, Loretta Vogel won National Coach of the Year; Michigan Womens’ Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame inductee, 2012, became the 6th coach in Michigan to reach 1,000+ career wins, including a State Championship!
 
  • All  levels and abilities are welcome. 
  • No volleyball experience is necessary. 
  • Camps are not exclusive to Mercy High School students. 
  • All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

PERFORMING ARTS CAMP

Musical Theater Camp & Performance
Open to students entering grades 6 - 9 in Fall of 2023
 
June 19-22 & June 26-29, 2023
Performance: June 29 at 7:00pm
The Mercy Performing Arts Camp is designed to make your child feel like a Broadway star! Students will be immersed into the world of musical theatre as they sing, dance, and perform the day away. All skill levels welcome! Emphasis will be given to proper vocal technique, stage presence, acting technique, and musical theater style choreography. This is a great opportunity for young performers to work with Performing Arts professionals. This camp will promote confidence, social skills, and collaboration. 
Camp will culminate in a one night only performance of Broadway Jr. Revue: Pure Imagination! This will take place in Mercy High School’s intimate drama studio space, and will include musical numbers from Disney favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen as well as other Broadway musicals like Annie, Elf, and Seussical. Students will get the opportunity to perform solos, in small groups, and in large ensemble pieces.  
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing, suitable for dancing and movement.  Shoes should be closed toed.  Keep in mind that some spaces at Mercy High School are not air conditioned.  
What to Bring:
Campers must bring a refillable water bottle, lunch, and snack.  
Performance Costume:
Camper must provide black pants (leggings are fine), shoes, and socks.  Campers will be given a camp shirt.
