Taize Prayer with U of D Jesuit

 

Originating in the Christian community of Taize, France, Taize Prayer is a meditative and ecumenical form of prayer which calls us to dwell in Christ's presence.

This Friday, 12/9 at 6:00 pm, Mercy High School and University of Detroit Jesuit Campus Ministries invite you to a student-led Taize Prayer Service in the Mercy High School Chapel.

Youth Mercy Associate & Campus Ministry Annual Christmas Gift Drive

Our Annual Christmas Gift Drive is now underway through Monday, December 5. Students received gift tags in Adviser Group to bring an unwrapped item to support The Lennon Pregnancy Center and Neighborhood House in Farmington Hills. Thank you for spreading some holiday cheer to those in need!

VISITOR BADGE REQUIRED ON CAMPUS

The Administrative Team appreciates all you do to help us keep our community safe. For increased safety measures, beginning Tuesday, November 29, we will badge all visitors using our Raptor Visitor Management System who enter the building during the school day, 8:00am - 2:40pm. This includes entrance at the Reception Area and Auditorium/Gym Lobby.  

KAIROS 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR

Last week Campus Ministry had our first KAIROS of the school year in mid-November. 32 seniors experienced this very special 4 day retreat at St. Paul of the Cross. This student led retreat offers an opportunity to deepen the students relationship with God and others through prayer, reflection, small group discussion, Reconciliation and Eucharist. There are spots still available for seniors to sign-up to attend KAIROS in February or April 2023!

Parents/Guardians are invited to Mercy for our Feast of the Immaculate Conception Mass Thursday, December 8 at 10:15am in the Auditorium. Worship with us as we celebrate this special holy day and induct our new Youth Mercy Associates.

RECONCILIATION OFFERED IN THE CHAPEL

Parents/Guardians, Students and Staff are welcome to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in our Mercy HS Chapel on Wednesday, December 7 from 7:30am - 3:00pm. Priests will be available throughout the school day for confession. Coffee and donuts will be provided for our early birds who come to receive the sacrament early!
