Riveters Take 4th at March 21, 2025 District Competition

Congratulations to our Mercy Robotics Team — 1481 The Riveters — for placing 4th at their second district competition in Mason from 3/21 - 3/23. They will be playing at States this Weekend in Saginaw and hopefully qualify for Worlds. Good Luck Riveters!

Marta Meehan '25 Short Track Speedskating Success

Congratulations to Marta Meehan '25 who obtained the honor of gold medal at U.S. Speedskating Nationals for age group events this past weekend in Princeton, New Jersey. She will be following up as a member with the F.A.S.T. team in Utah which will allow her to train to become part of the National Team! 

Dîner en Blanc: A Parisian Triumph at Mercy

On March 27, the French Honor Society (Chapter 493 of Société Honoraire de Française) hosted a spectacular Dîner en Blanc, transforming the McAuley Academic Center into a vision of Parisian elegance. Over 90 guests joined us for an unforgettable evening, doubling our expected turnout and showcasing the vibrant spirit of our Mercy community.

2025 Forensics National Qualifiers

Congratulations to all Mercy students who had the honor to compete at the Forensics National Qualifier this last weekend: Camilla Mendoza, Joye Pyronneau, Sydney Brooks, Isabella Casab, Aniba Raza, Colleen Shaw, Arya Agulto, Evelyn Thebault, Joelle Kassabri, and Harshitha Arvapalli. 

Maroon and gold swept the league and the following Mercy students have advanced to Nationals in Chicago May 23-25. The medal placements are:

2025 National Scholastic Art Awards

Congratulations to Maeve Casey '25 and Katherine Sarafa '28 who earned national recognition in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

Maeve won a silver medal for her ceramic piece titled “Veiled in Purity, Cloaked in Danger”.

Katherine won a silver medal for her photograph titled “Worn Paths”.
