Mercy High School is proud to announce Kathryn Mueller is the recipient of the 2020 Sr. Emily George Award. She was honored at her home by a socially distant parade of administrators and with a bouquet of flowers. Katie will speak to seniors at the conclusion of the Baccalaureate Mass. Congratulations Katie!

• Katie taught me that I can always be myself. Her quiet determination is inspiring
• When I see Katie, I am impressed by her positive spirit and her wisdom
• She is a kind leader who always contributes and includes everyone in her community
• Katie has led with great faith in Kairos and has been a committed student and classmate. She takes a genuine joy in helping others
• Katie is a woman of service. She is passionate about the critical concerns of the Sisters of Mercy and willing to stand up for justice. She has worked for “Summer in the City” and participated in forums for immigration
• Katie’s faith is deep and part of her life. She is a Youth Mercy Associate
• She contributed recently to the “Mercy Ministry Minutes” reaching out to the whole school to share her faith in God
