Graduation Tickets

Each Senior will receive 8 graduation tickets and may pick up beginning May 3 from the Reception Area between 10am - 3pm. All graduation obligations must be completed in order or a student to receive graduation tickets: 40 service hours and reflection paper; all financial obligations paid in full; no outstanding detentions; completion of Senior survey and end of year promise.

Senior Survey

All Seniors must complete the Senior Survey (using Mercy Gmail) by Monday, May 6 in order to receive graduation tickets.

Important End of the Semester Academic Dates

Friday, May 17
Senior English papers are due by 11:59pm. ALL Senior work must be submitted and graded by midnight (Friday, May 17) except for final exams/projects/presentations.
There will not be a “no testing period” for Seniors, but once a final experience is completed classwork can be given and graded but further homework (work to complete, additional reading, preparation for a quiz or test) should not be extensive. This will allow students time to work on other presentations, and projects and prepare for final exams.

May 20 - May 22 Senior Final Exam
A final exam experience for Seniors needs to occur on one of these days. Seniors are required to be present in class on May 20, 21, and 22 for final presentations, review days, or final exams/papers. This will be determined by the classroom teacher. Seniors will be able to come and go as they please but must enter and exit the lobby doors after school begins at 8:00 am. Some sample scenarios: 1) A senior could have a review day on Monday, and the exam on Tuesday and therefore would be expected in class on both days, 2) A final paper could be turned in on
May 17 and the Senior would not need to attend class since the final experience is complete, 3) Final presentations are held May 20-22 and all students are expected to be in class all days to present or critique other student presentations, 4) A final exam is given May 21 and students do not attend on May 20.

May 23
All Seniors are expected to be in attendance for Honors Convocation in order to participate in their Adviser Party and Moving Up.

May 30
Senior Final Grades are due by May 30 at 9 am. Transcripts will be sent to the college designated on the Senior Survey on June 4.
