- studying Michelangelo's David sculpture in Florence
- touring a balsamic vinegar farm and tasting authentic balsamic
- learning how to make parmigiano reggiano cheese
- strolling through the colonnaded streets of Turin and Bologna
- eating focaccia on the beaches of Cinque Terre
- attending a Roman cooking class, learning how to make tortellini, and enjoying the fruits of our labor
- riding bicycles on the walled town of Lucca
- visiting the Colosseum and Roman Forum
It was a fun, educational, and life-changing experience for all who traveled! You can view more photos from the trip here. For further information about Mercy's Latin program and how you can get involved, please contact Mrs. Lauren Marquard.
