Quiz Bowl State Championships 2023

Mercy Quiz Bowl attended the Class B State Championships on Saturday, April 15. The team qualified for the afternoon matches, and finished with a 4-5 record in very close matches. They won the afternoon consolation bracket with a perfect record. You can view tournament statistics here. Linny Maier '23 finished 10th individually overall, scoring a combined 395 points. Because of her outstanding performance, Linny was named to the All-State Second Team. Congratulations to Sophia Segars '26, Isabella Portillo '25, Haleigh Cameron '25, Linny Maier '23, and Coach Lauren Marquard (left to right) for a great performance. Mercy Quiz Bowl is headed to Atlanta over Memorial Day Weekend for the National Championships. Keep an eye out for them!
