Mercy High School's Swim & Dive team has been named one of United Dairy Industry of Michigan’s (UDIM) Chocolate Milk: Nature’s Sports Drink grant recipients, which emphasizes good nutrition.

For more than four decades, Carolyn Witte has held every role that can be held at Farmington's Mercy High School.

She graduated from there (1967), so she's been a student. Her daughter went there, so she's been a mom. She taught English there and, for the last 16 years, has served as the school's principal.

The Bartels sisters made quite an impact at Farmington Hills Mercy this past season.

Amelia, a 17-year-old senior, and Libby, a 16-year-old sophomore, played ice hockey and lacrosse for the Marlins. On each team, Amelia was the shutdown defender and Libby the high-scoring forward.

Then in 2016, the girls on the Farmington Hills Mercy softball team put it all together and took the next step, winning the Division 1 state championship.

The Riveters were off to the World Championship this past weekend in St. Louis, MO.  Qualifying as the 38th best robot in the State of Michigan out of 450 teams, team 1481 easily met the district point requirement to qualify for the World Championship.

Farmington Hills Mercy takes twinbill from CHSL rival Livonia Ladyood.

Defending Michigan Hihg School Athletic Association Division 1 softball doubleheader sweep of Catholic High School League rival Livonia Ladywood on Friday, April 28, 2018 at Mercy.

Mercy won game one 18-5 in five innings and game two 14-4 in five innings.
