IMPORTANT RECEPTION AREA RELOCATION & SUMMER HOURS
We are excited to begin renovations on our entryway this summer!
During the renovation, the Reception Area will temporarily move to the Auditorium/Gym Lobby. For the foreseeable future, all visitors should use the Auditorium/Gym Lobby entrance. The relocated Reception Area will be open during the following hours:
- Monday, June 1 - Tuesday, June 30: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Friday, June 19: Closed in recognition of Juneteenth
- Month of July: Reception Area will be closed. Guests should contact the appropriate office to schedule an appointment. See contact webpage and staff directory here.
- Monday, August 3 - Tuesday, August 11: Reception Area and building reopen, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Wednesday, August 12: Reception Area closed
- Thursday, August 13: Reception Area school hours resume, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Work Permit Information:

- Student completes sections 1 and 2
- Student emails the permit, with sections 1 and 2 completed, to Mrs. Tarplin, edtarplin@mhsmi.org
- Mrs. Tarplin signs the permit and emails it back to the student. A copy of the permit will be placed in the student's file
- Please allow 24 hours for a response
