All this week, the Pro-Life Club is hosting a fundraiser for the Gianna House, a local home for at-risk and homeless young mothers. Since 2009, hundreds of young, pregnant, at-risk girls and women have received support for their pregnancies and their infants. Gianna House provides baby supplies and educational opportunities for anyone who needs them.
Over the winter, their pipes burst, flooding the home and destroying almost all of their donated baby supplies. Mercy's Pro-Life Club is hosting a Penny Wars fundraiser to support the Gianna House and the critical work they do in the community.
Each grade will have a collection bin at the Reception Area. At the end of this week, the class with the most money raised will win a dress down day on 3/31 and 200 Spirit Points!
- Increase your class's money: put pennies and bills into your class bin
- Decrease another class's money: put silver coins into another class bin
So, gather up all of your change and bring it to the Reception Area!
