Important End of the Year Dates
Freshwomen, Sophomores, and Juniors were emailed the following information in regard to Easter Break testing dates, final deadlines and final experiences.
Easter Break Testing Dates
Monday, March 29
Test day for any last test/quiz/formal assessment/paper in ANY Math, Religious Studies, Performing Arts, World Language and Computer Science course.
Tuesday, March 30
Test day for any last test/quiz/formal assessment/paper in ANY Social Studies, Science, English, Physical Education or Art course.
End of Semester Dates
Thursday, May 13
Last day for any written assessments in World Language courses.
Monday, May 17
World Language Oral Exams begin.
Thursday, May 20
Mercy Day of Celebration
Tuesday, May 25
Final day to turn in all English papers.
All grades posted for all assignments except final projects, papers, etc (9-11) by 11:59pm.
Thursday, May 27
All 1st-4th hours meet.
Any final test/quiz/formal assessment will be given. Students released at 11:30am.
Friday, May 28
All 5th - 7th hours meet.
Any final test/quiz/formal assessment will be given. Students released at 10:35am.
Thursday, June 3
Final Grades posted (9-11) at 9am.
Rescheduling a Final Experience
Only under serious circumstances, that are out of the student's control, will a student be permitted to take a test earlier than the final days May 27 & 28. Students must initiate that request by completing and submitting a form (available at the Reception Area) to be signed by a parent, verifying the need for a change in test time, accompanied by appropriate documentation (i.e. medical documentation, airline tickets, etc...). The request must be submitted two weeks prior to the final experience and approved by the Associate Principal of Academic Affairs and the teacher involved.
