Dale Carnegie Course for Teens Offered at Brother Rice

Mercy students have been invited to participate in the Dale Carnegie Course for Teenagers. The course is held every February at Brother Rice. See details and information listed and linked below.

The Dale Carnegie Course® for Teenagers is designed to prepare individuals for the real world. It helps them develop the skills they need to reach their goals and live up to their potential. Help your teen become the person they dream of becoming! Through the Dale Carnegie® Course, students will be able to:

  • Increase self-confidence
  • Overcome fear and shyness
  • Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude
  • Be focused in times of challenge                               
  • Make better decisions
  • Manage stress and worry
  • Become motivated and enthusiastic
  • Build solid interpersonal skills
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Develop stronger leadership skills…and more!

Schedule:

The 8-week course (meets once a week) will take place on Tuesdays from 4:30-8 p.m. There will be an Orientation for new students and parents on Tuesday, February 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. The class dates will be as follows: February 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, April 13, 20.  We will not meet February 16 and April 6.

You must RSVP to attend the Orientation! Space is limited! Brother Rice is located at 7101 Lahser Road in Bloomfield Hills.
