Apply for a Mercy CORE Subcommittee
Dear Mercy Alumnae, Students & Mothers,
Mercy High School is committed to providing all students an education that reflects Mercy values in an environment free of racism and social injustices. Over the last few months, the Council On Racial Equity (CORE) Steering Committee has been working behind the scenes to build the framework to continue weaving equity throughout the fabric of our beloved school. When we launched the initiative, we shared a vision to include more voices beyond the Steering Committee at the table of this transformative and important work. We are excited to announce the Subcommittee applications are available.
The Mercy community has asked how to be an ally, an advocate or a dismantler because of their own experiences of racism. Please note, CORE is a coalition of women volunteering their time to create a more Just Mercy. Equity and Inclusion work is very important, yet a challenging endeavor that forces reflection.
As dedicated volunteers, we are continually reminded that our invested time is invaluable for all of our students. We invite you to learn more about each Subcommittee and welcome your application using the links below.
