Mercy Students:
Please find listed below important information in regards to building procedures and uniform policy. Make sure you read all of these announcements, you will be held accountable for ALL of them.
- When exiting the building please do not allow others to enter. All guests need to enter through the Reception Area, even parents. If you are leaving from the Reception Area, at the time a guest wants to enter, the guest still needs ring the bell so that Mrs. Scheid, Ms. Arlen and Ms. Harkness are aware that someone has entered the building.
- Skirt lengths are mysteriously getting shorter again. Perhaps you thought this would blow over, but NOT! You should not be rolling your skirts under any circumstances and we will continue to give out JUGs for skirts that don't meet the length requirement. If you are in doubt about your skirt length please come see me.
- Bookbags/backpacks/large purses are NOT allowed on either side of the Cafeteria lines. You must leave these items along the wooden fence area (outside of the line) when making purchases.
- CHANGE TO THE UNIFORM POLICY: Mercy letter sweaters are now allowed as part of the uniform and can be worn with the Mercy blouse.
- With that said, the ONLY sweater or sweatshirts allowed to be worn with the Mercy white blouse as part of the uniform are: maroon (freshmen), navy blue (sophomores), gray (juniors) or black (seniors) V-neck sweaters purchased from the uniform company; maroon (freshmen), navy blue (sophomores), gray or white (juniors) or black (seniors) Mercy quarter-zips purchased from the Marlin Shop; and now the Mercy letter sweater.
