We need your help! The Mercy Dads' Club is short of our raffle ticket return goal. Help us continue to provide the many things we do for and with our daughters and Mercy High School. This is the only MDC fundraiser of the year and we need the support of the entire Mercy Community to make the raffle and our year a success!

All families should have received the Dads’ Club Annual Raffle tickets in the mail. Each Mercy student received two books of 5 tickets to sell. Tickets can be turned in via the following ways:

Welcome to E-LEARNING for the 2020-21 school year. Please take the time to read this email as it gives information regarding Attendance Policies for the next few weeks. Your daily online presence in all classes is imperative during the time we are all virtual. Being virtual gives you the opportunity to attend your classes when you may have otherwise not been able to attend in-person. You should not be using a cold/other minor illnesses, traveling, etc. as an excuse to not attend school.

Please be advised due to the current state mandate and remote only learning schedule, we find it necessary to postpone the Focus: HOPE Food Drive. Campus Ministry is working to coordinate with Focus: HOPE for a later date. Please do not drop off donations to Mercy at this time. You may hold onto any items purchased or donate to another food pantry. Stay tuned for further information. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding!

This evening Governor Whitmer announced a new order from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services that tightens resident restrictions in an effort to control the current COVID-19 surge. One of the restrictions is for all high schools throughout the state to return to a remote learning model for the next 3 weeks. There will temporarily be no in-person instruction.

Thank you for supporting Mercy High School! We are truly blessed by the generosity of so many who share our vision to educate and inspire women of diverse backgrounds to lead and serve with compassion. We could not do this important work without the charitable gifts from faithful supporters like you.

Mercy’s E-LEARNING Schedule for the 2020-21 school year was revised and approved by Curriculum Council on Wednesday, November 4. This schedule was created in consideration of enhanced online teaching and delivery skills, learned tools and the increased comfort level with E-LEARNING that our teachers have developed since last spring.

Our students also have become better acclimated to learning remotely through a full day schedule given our current synchronous hybrid model. Furthermore, more curriculum content can be supported with a full four-day instructional week.

    Dear Mercy Parent/Guardian,

COVID-19 positive cases both in Oakland County and across the state of Michigan continue to rise as had been predicted with weather changing and activities moving inside. We continue to closely monitor these numbers and will respond accordingly if we need to change our approach. It is important that we base any decision on our continuity of in-person instruction on the guidance we are receiving from the local health department and other community health experts.
