Dear Mercy Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the Advent Season! I hope you find opportunity for peace and reflection during this extraordinarily busy time of the year. As we prepare for closure to the first semester, much has been accomplished at Mercy High School.

Student Experiences

Mercy Families,

As our semester winds to a close next week we would like to offer you a couple of prayer opportunities to help you refine your focus in these final week of Advent:

Monday December 16th Available all day (8:00 – 2:30)

Prayer Labyrinth:

The use of labyrinths for Catholic contemplation can be traced to cathedrals of the Middle Ages. In the European cathedrals they were used traditionally as a site of pilgrimage. Research shows that there were 22 labyrinths in the Gothic cathedrals that went up during the Middle Ages throughout Europe.

For the past three spring seasons, many Mercy students have participated in Mercy archery through a wonderful team program through the Farmington Hills Parks & Recreation Dept.

No experience or equipment is required. Practice/training occurs nearby at Heritage Park, Farmington Hills, and the competition at the end of the program is tiered by experience/ability.

Nominate a Mercy Distinguished Alumna

The Mercy High School Alumnae Board is accepting nominations for the 2020 Distinguished Alumna Award to be presented at Tea for Tuition on April 26, 2020.

Please nominate an alumna who makes a difference in her walk of life and exemplifies and supports Mercy's values of Human Dignity, Mercy, Justice, Service, and Option for the Poor.
