The Farmington Hills Mercy girls swim team claimed another Oakland County championship on Saturday at Waterford Mott, scoring a total of 394 points for first place.

Harrison/Farmington came in second with 277.5 while Rochester Adams placed third with 200.5.

The Marlins won two events in the meet. The team of Kylie Goit, Coutney Connolly, Julia Coffman and Greta Gidley won the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:35.71. Ciara McCliment was the county diving champion as well, winning last night’s competition with a score of 397.25.

Farmington/Harrison won a pair of relays as Bella Feenstra, Dayna Borregard, Madeline Greaves and Ashley Turak won the 200 medley relay (1:45.91), setting a new County meet record. The Thunderbirds also had a new County meet record in the 200 freestyle relay (1:35.73) behind a team of Greaves, Lia Munson, Emma Inch and Turak. Turak set a new County meet record in the 50 freestyle (22.75) and earn a tie for first in the 100 butterfly with Rhianna Hensler of Notre Dame Prep (54.96). Greaves would go on to win the 200 IM (2:05.61).

Adams’ Lisa Lohner won the 500 freestyle (4:57.00), while Cranbrook’s Gwenyth Woodbury won the 200 freestyle (1:52.74), Lake Orion’s Claire Abbasse won the 100 freestyle (51.37), Bloomfield Hills’ Sydney Woods won the 100 backstroke (57.94) and Stoney Creek’s Emily Shores won the 100 breaststroke (1:03.61).
