2025 Sister Emily George Award

Congratulations to our 2025 Sister Emily George Award Recipient — Marie Schueneman! The Sister Emily George Award is one of Mercy’s highest honors, recognizing a senior who embodies scholarship, spirituality, service, leadership, integrity, and school involvement. Marie is known for her deep faith, academic excellence, and sincere commitment to making the world a better place. She’s a Kairos leader, Mercy Youth Associate, Valedictorian/Salutatorian Finalist, and active member of many organizations including French Honor Society, National Honor Society, Golf Team, and the Animal Rights Club.

In her own words, she hopes to be remembered for her service, empathy, faith, and dedication to others — qualities that reflect the spirit of Sister Emily George, a brilliant leader and lifelong servant of God.
