Sophia Segars '26 Joyce Ivy Summer Scholar & Academy Group Detroit Class of 2030

Congratulations to Sophia Segars '26 who was selected as a 2025 Joyce Ivy Summer Scholar! Sophia was also accepted into the Academy Group, specifically AG30 (College Class of 2030), the first cohort of young high school juniors joining the Academy Group Detroit. The Academy Group is a Chicago-based organization expanding into Detroit, dedicated to closing wealth and opportunity gaps for Black and Brown students in resilient communities.
