Quiz Bowl Nov 2024 Success

This past weekend, the Mercy Quiz Bowl team showcased their knowledge and teamwork at the Grosse Pointe Blank Tournament, competing against some of the best teams in the region. The entire team contributed to Mercy’s success, delivering an outstanding performance during the morning rounds. Their collective efforts earned Mercy a spot in the championship rounds in the afternoon, culminating in an impressive 6th place overall finish.

A special congratulations goes to our captain, Chisom Nwoke ’25, for her stellar individual performance. Chisom scored an incredible 360 points for Mercy and secured 8th place overall in the individual rankings, making her the highest-placing female competitor of the weekend—a remarkable achievement in a highly competitive field.
