Baggot Street Speaker Series
The Modern Saints Project
Campus Ministry was excited to welcome Gracie Morbitzer of The Modern Saints Project to Mercy on October 27th. She is an artist and creator from Columbus who focuses her work on Modern Saints with a "goal to re-imagine these extraordinary people as modern, everyday humans...because that is exactly what they were, and they remind us of ourselves. They show us that we can all be saints just like them."
What is the Baggot Street Speaker Series?
Baggot Street Speaker Series is intended as a forum for students to comfortably engage members of the community around issues of Faith, Justice, and the Mercy Critical Concerns. Baggot Street takes its name from the first Mercy outreach to the poor and vulnerable in Dublin, Ireland. The Mercy Center on Baggot Street was opened by Catherine McAuley on September 24, 1827.
