The Youth Mercy Associates spearheaded a service project to make homeless hygiene kits for the "Alternatives for Girls" organization. With funding from The Good Eggs Foundation, the Youth Mercy Associates purchased products like socks, soap, dental care, deodorant and more. They assembled with care approximately 100 hygiene kits and added special, inspirational messages to each one.
"This hygiene kit service project helps women in need in Detroit. It really feels good knowing that we as Youth Mercy Associates are making a positive impact on those who need it most." ~ Julia Rea '22
“This was an overall great experience. Making the kits was awesome and I think that delivering the kits ourselves to Alternatives for Girls as Youth Mercy Associates was the best part!”~ Maeve Casey ‘25
