Black History Month Assembly

Mercy HS Human Relations Council presented an insightful Black History Month Virtual Assembly "Black Health, Let’s Talk About It" on Friday, February 25. It was an incredibly informative presentation that helped to enhance awareness for all of us on the injustices, disparities and unique needs of mental and physical health care for the Black community. Thank you to our guest speakers Dr. Monica Jackson Alharazim '00, Patricia Farmer Attaway ‘94, Dr. Mary Ibe and Ashley Lyles ‘12 and shout out to our wonderful student facilitators Nandini Desaraju ‘23, Angelina Hamati ‘23 and Alyssa Studvent ‘22 and staff leaders Mike Barnes, Sandy Mals, Steve Morgan and Traci Smith.
