2025 Catholic League Hall of Fame Honorees

Four Accomplished Alumnae To Be Inducted into CHSL Hall of Fame

The Catholic High School League (CHSL) has long been a foundation of excellence in athletics, and leadership. This year, four remarkable alumnae will be inducted into the CHSL Hall of Fame, celebrating their outstanding contributions to the CHSL and to Mercy High School. This year's inductees from Mercy High School are Charlie Atiemo (2021), Julia Bishop (2021), Jess Mruzik (2020), Jillian Smith (2021). The CHSL Hall of Fame day will take place on June 9th at Fern Hill Country Club. The induction ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm.

Charli continued her volleyball career at Northern Illinois University, becoming the 23rd player in program history to surpass 1,000 kills.

Julia continued her volleyball career at Michigan State University, leading the Spartans in assists in 2023 and 2024. She is the fourth player in MSU volleyball program history to serve as captain for three seasons.

Jill continued her lacrosse career at the University of Michigan, earning First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2023 and 2024. She also holds the title of Michigan's all-time points leader.
