Mercy High School Performing Arts Presents "The Addams Family" School Edition

Farmington Hills, MI – Get ready for a delightfully spooky and hilarious theatrical experience as Mercy High School proudly presents The Addams Family: School Edition! This must-see musical production will take place on March 14-15 at 7:30 PM and March 16 at 2:00 PM in the Mercy High School Auditorium.

The Addams Family is a comical feast that embraces the quirks and wackiness found in every family. This original story follows Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, as she faces a challenge more terrifying than any haunted house—introducing her sweet, respectable boyfriend to her famously eccentric family. As Gomez Addams struggles to keep a secret from Morticia for the first time, chaos ensues in a hilarious and heartwarming tale of love, family, and acceptance.

“At its core, The Addams Family is about embracing what makes us different, finding strength in the oddities of our lives and celebrating the things that bind us together,” Shelley Fager Bajorek, Director.

This special School Edition of The Addams Family has been adapted from the Broadway production to be more accessible for high school performers while maintaining all the humor, charm, and toe-tapping musical numbers that have captivated audiences worldwide. With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, this production is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.

Ticket are $15/Adult and $10/Student & Senior Citizen and available at the door or online: https://cur8.com/20575/project/126944

Don’t miss your chance to see this spooky, kooky, and altogether entertaining production featuring students from Mercy High School, Northville High School, Churchill High School, and U of D Jesuit High School.

“Because of our incredible cast chemistry, we are able to fully embrace our characters, which elevates the performance and brings the Addams family to life, “Evie Thebault, Mercy Senior Cast Member.
