MARY KATE BECKER ACCEPTS NEW ROLE WITH MERCY EDUCATION

We share both gratitude and congratulations as Mary Kate Becker, Mercy High School’s Director of Ministry & Catholic Identity, prepares to take on a new role as Associate Director for Mission Integration with Mercy Education, beginning this July.

During her time at Mercy, Mary Kate has been instrumental in connecting our Core Values and Mission to our Catholic faith, developing student ministerial leaders, and enriching the spiritual life of our entire school community. In her new position, she will continue to lead and nurture the Mercy Catholic mission, especially the charism of the Sisters of Mercy, across all Mercy Education member institutions.

While we will deeply miss her presence, leadership, and compassion at Mercy, we are incredibly proud and excited for the impact she will make in this new ministry. Please join us in thanking Mary Kate for her faithful service and in celebrating this exciting new chapter of leadership. Read more here.

Mary Kate shares, “It has been a complete joy and honor to serve our Mercy High School community these past four years. I feel incredibly humbled to be able to accompany so many amazing Mercy girls in their spiritual journey. What a complete gift to build up young women faith leaders. I’m excited to be able to continue serving the Mercy Education system. Please know I will keep Mercy High School in my prayers.”

As we look ahead to the 2025–26 school year, Mercy High School is seeking a new Director of Ministry & Catholic Identity to continue this vital work. Learn more here to view the job posting and application details. Please share this opportunity with your network and colleagues.
