Mercy Tuition Falvo Family Scholarship Opportunity

Class of 2026 & Parents/Guardians:

A merit scholarship is available for a rising Mercy senior. The Falvo Family Scholarship was created in 2021 by two Mercy alumnae, Michele Falvo Kendall '94 and Dana Falvo Haller '00, in memory of their father, Jack Falvo, who coached softball at Mercy for many years and passed away in 2014. The scholarship will award one Mercy Junior $1,000 toward her Senior year tuition. All those who qualify are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Requirements:

• Demonstrate Leadership
• Show Dedication to Service 
• Maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher

Scholarship Application:

Applicants should submit the following essay and endorsement forms by Monday, April 7, 2025. You may drop off a hard copy at the Advancement Office or email a digital version to Mrs. Duncan at mduncan@mhsmi.org.

• A personal essay describing how you demonstrate the qualities listed above (approx. 750 words)
• Two endorsement forms from a teacher, coach, counselor, club moderator or employer
