2018 Alliance Catholic Credit Union CHSL Scholarships

The Archdiocese of Detroit wanted to pass along this Alliance Catholic Credit Union CHSL Scholarship contest information to students currently in the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grades.

Alliance Catholic Credit Union is currently running their 3rd Annual Live It, Show It, Share It Scholarship Contest for students who will be attending a Catholic League high school in the 2019-2020 academic year. They are giving away a total of $20,000 in scholarships. Details about the contest can be found on the Alliance Catholic CU website at AllianceCCU.com/20K and click here for informational flyer.

Students are being asked to create a 6 word story and include 1 photo that,

"Tells about a time in their life when their faith had a meaningful impact." Ten finalists will be selected and invited to a short interview with a panel of representatives from the Catholic Schools Office and Alliance Catholic CU. From there, a Grand Prize winner will be selected to receive a $6,000 scholarship. There will be a $4,500 scholarship for 2nd prize, $2,500 for 3rd prize and a $1,000 scholarship for the remaining 7 students. Alliance Catholic CU will work directly with the schools to make the payments on behalf of the winning families.

This is a great opportunity for students and families. We encourage you to spread the word. The deadline for entries is December 2, 2018. Finalists will be notified in early January and the winners will be announced during Catholic Schools Week.
