Golf Captures Third Straight State Championship!

Congratulations Mercy Golf on winning their third consecutive MHSAA Division 2 State Championship this past weekend. Mercy positioned themselves well for the second day of competition, shooting a 334 the first day and holding an eight-stroke lead over second place. The Marlins were able to hold on and win the state championship three-peat by five strokes with a team score of 677. The team was led by captain Maeve Casey '25, who finished fourth overall in the individual standings with a two-day total of 152. Captain Lila Polakowski '25 shot a 169, followed by Macey Mophew '25 with a 179, and Megan Guerrera '27, carding a 186. Ainsley Henderson '26 shot a 107 on Day 1. Emily Walker '25 stepped in on Day 2 to deliver a career-low 83.
