It's going to be an exciting year for Mercy High School Performing Arts! Mercy High School has a legacy of excellence in theater. Our students perform in a beautiful 1,200 person auditorium, which will be newly outfitted with LED lighting and a projection system.

 

The world premiere fall play "Angels of Bataan" is October 20-22, 2023. It is written by local playwright Tracy Wells and inspired by the true story of several army and navy nurses taken as prisoners of war during WWII. 

 

We are also the Michigan winners of the United States of Frozen contest, giving us the exclusive rights for the Michigan High School premiere of "Frozen the complete Broadway musical." Auditions are September 23 and the show is March 14-24, 2024.

 

Being an all girls high school, we are looking for 8th grade and high school boys and children (Boys and Girls) Age 8+ to round out our casts. Audition information, show summaries and tickets will be available for both shows on our website: mhsmi.org/performing-arts.
