D2 No. 2-ranked Farmington Hills Mercy advances to defend title

Defending Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 champion and No. 2-ranked Farmington Hills Mercy won the Region 12 championship on Wednesday, Oct 11, at Farmington Hills Golf Club.

FRENCH OLYMPICS 2023

All French students participated in the inaugural French Olympics at Mercy HIgh School during their French classes on October 3, 2023. We wanted to join in the celebration with Paris, where the actual Olympics are happening this summer in July.

Playwright Visits "Angels of Bataan" Cast

Mercy Performing Arts was honored to have Tracy Wells, playwright of the fall production "Angels of Bataan," come to talk to the cast and crew. What a great opportunity to stage the World Premiere of this piece! The students were able to learn about the history, inspiration, and writing process. They asked questions regarding the play itself and their characters.

Students Experience Rocket in Detroit

Mrs. Tarplin's Entrepreneurship, Marketing & Media class spent a school day in Detroit to experience and learn about Rocket Companies. Students were greeted by Mercy alumna, Rebecca Leddy McDonald ‘91, the Strategic Advisor and Executive Coach who coordinated the visit. Students especially loved the panel conversation with Mercy alumnae: Angela Cini ‘93, Sadie Malone ‘10, and Jordan Morgan ‘06.

Congratulations to Seniors Zada Carter, Sage Johnson, Shaniel Smith, Ryann Toussaint, Madison Williams and Rielly Rudolph who were accepted to the Midnight Golf Program.

Only 250 students are accepted from 1,000+ applicants in Metro Detroit. MGP Mission: "We are dedicated to equipping determined young adults through life skills training, proactive coaching, long-term mentoring, and the discipline of golf in order to succeed in college, in their careers, and beyond."
